Animals in production such as cows with calves and growing heifers often need more than only a phosphate lick during the summer months. Summer Lick 10% is basically a phosphate lick with some protein and energy added for the additional needs such as milk or growing. It is also ideal when the veld matures in late summer and the nutritional value of the veld becomes lower. Summer Lick 10% is a ready mixed lick containing high quality protein and phosphate and is ready to use.

FEEDING RECOMMENDATION:
Summer Lick 10% is a mineral supplement and not a feed. Sufficient pasture must be available at all times when the lick is offered. Keep lick troughs filled in order to prevent voracious feeding by greedy animals. Excess intake can cause poisoning.
