  1. Your bulls are top top world class indeed. But they are beyond reach to emerging farmers like me. The price range for heifers too is beyond my reach and without speaking for other emerging farmers, I believe emerging farmers at large will not afford the price tag. Pertaining to quality, it is world class without any doubt. For those who can afford the price tag, honestly speaking, there is value for the money. On Friday, 04 June 2021 I will be at your annual auction to buy what I can from your quality heifers/cows. Quality and the best of the best is my driving force. Keep up the excellent work.

  2. Andrew Jude Mokebe

    Good evening
    My name is Andrew Mokebe.
I’m a South African aged 47 and have interest in farming. I’m currently working as a public servant and interested in owning a cows and would like to know more about this industry. I have never owned a cow whatsoever. Is there perhaps a program within the Sernick group aimed developing people like me with interest in the field and doesn’t have skills/experience.
Would you please be kind to revert back to me. Cell no: 0676193792

    Thank you

UREA POISONING GUIDE

WARNING

  • These animal feeds contain urea and other NPN sources. Pellets should be fed strictly according to the directions for use.

  • Animals that are not adapted to urea rations must be fed a salt-phosphate lick for seven (7) days prior to feeding urea rations. Vinegar is an effective antidote for NPN poisoning. Mix equal parts of vinegar and water and dose half a bottle per calf or large sheep and 2–4 bottles per head of cattle (1 bottle = 750ml).

  • Protect feed from rain as NPN can dissolve in water. Animals that consume this contaminated mixture can be poisoned.

  • Do not offer this feed indiscriminately with other feeds that contain NPN.

Contact the Sernick technical staff for further information and enquiries.
