In 1990 we became the first private entity in South Africa to install a Phase C testing station. With its recent upgrade and inclusion of the latest technology and software, we can now test up to 216 animals per cycle, with three test cycles per year.

The ongoing testing has led to an advancement in the genetic selection of the stud, which in turn has significantly improved the feeding efficiency of the Bonsmara stud, contributing to its proven economic efficiency.
