CATTLE FINISHING MEAL (WITHOUT HAY) / BEESAFROND MEEL (SONDER HOOI)
The finishing of weaner calves by commercial beef farmers is becoming more popular daily. Before the animal is successfully finished one must ensure that the housing facilities have the required feeding space, living space, water supply and shade. Before the beginning of the feeding process the necessary precautions regarding the infestation of internal and external parasites need to be taken because only a healthy animal without stress can grow well. Sernick has formulated Cattle Finishing Feed without hay for the client who has his/her own hay available. Because of a good protein and energy ratio and the required trace elements, vitamins and growth enhancers any healthy animal will perform excellently.

FEEDING RECOMMENDATION:
Adapt the calves by offering them 2 kg of feed per animal for the first day. After that increase the intake by 0,5 kg/animal/day until they receive the product ad lib. Good tasty hay must be available at all times. Ensure that the animals eat enough hay. If bloating or acidosis occurs Sernick’s technical staff need to be consulted immediately and the product must be withdrawn to ensure hay intake. Ensure that there is enough clean water available at all times.
