The finishing of weaned calves by commercial farmers is daily becoming more popular. Before the animal is successfully fattened one must ensure that the housing facilities have the required feeding space, living space, water supply and shade. The necessary precautions regarding the infestation of internal and external parasites need to be taken because only a healthy animal without stress can grow well. Sernick has formulated Complete Cattle Finishing Feed without hay for the client who has his/her own hay available. Because of a good protein and energy ratio and the required trace elements, vitamins and growth enhancers any healthy animal will perform excellently. Cattle Fattening Concentrate is developed for farmers who have maize, chop or hay available and to give these farmers the opportunity to use these products.

FEEDING RECOMMENDATION:
If a cafeteria system is being used the animals need to be presented with the product in the same way as was recommended for Cattle Finishing Feed without hay. Read the feeding recommendation on page 6. In cases where a full feed mixture is made the animals need to be treated similarly to the feeding recommendation for Complete Cattle Finisher as explained on page 7. Ensure that the animals have access to enough clean drinking water at all times.
