BROILERS / BRAAIKUIKENS

As a result of breeding programmes for genetic progress to increase production chickens and hens are more prone to illnesses. This forces chicken farmers to pay much more attention to factors such as housing, lighting, ventilation, air, light, feeding space, living space, inoculation, water supply and feeding programmes. Any form of stress increases the risk of illnesses and this leads to production losses. It is advisable to consult technical advisors before any kind of farming is attempted. Sernick has a range of broiler feeds that has been formulated according to the latest technological developments in order to ensure excellent production.
