To provide feed for the bull testing station, our Feed Factory was established in 1997, which is now able to produce more than 15 000 tons of feed per month. About 35% of the feed produced supplies the feedlot and farm, with the balance being sold to customers throughout the Free State and neighbouring provinces.

The Sernick Feed Factory produces an outstanding range of 130 different mixes. The range includes dairy and cattle feeds, licks, feed for pigs, sheep, broilers and hatchers in the poultry industry, as well as pellets for game farms. The latest addition is the precision nutritional series for optimal performance in Intensive Sheep Farming.
