Job Description

Management of all areas of the butchery, including admin, finances, employees, price and margin management, ordering and inventory management.


  • Manage, motivate and delegate to staff
  • Product ordering, receiving and storage
  • Admin management
  • Product range, price and margin management
  • Production of fresh, frozen, cooked and smoked products
  • Maintaining customer service levels

Minimum requirements/qualifications

  • Grade 12
  • Relevant qualification will be an advantage
  • Butcher management/retail experience
